ams OSRAM Group in Malaysia seeks a maintenance technician to lead preventive maintenance for plasma/thermal tools on a shift basis. You will be responsible for passdown management, tool troubleshooting, and coordinating with sub-FAB activities, including e-shipping of cleaned parts and disposition of hold lots.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Engineering and has at least 2 years’ experience with wafer fabrication equipment, with strong vacuum/RF knowledge and MS Office skills.

Formación

• Diploma in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment experience (plasma).
• Knowledge of vacuum and RF systems; SPC knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsabilidades

• Plan schedule Preventive Maintenance activities for shifts (chamber clean, Chemguard tank replacement, chiller top-up).
• Receive and update passdown information; ensure passdown files are current and handed over.
• Lead passdown meetings and attend morning engineering meetings on time.
• Troubleshoot tool alarms to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled PM on plasma/thermal tools and wafer recovery when alarms occur.
• Execute 5S in plasma/thermal areas; pull parts for PM and support sub-FAB activities.
• Initiate e-shipping requests for cleaned parts and assist with on-hold lot disposition.
