Job summary

Randstad Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to coordinate enterprise material strategies and cultivate international vendor networks to secure long-term manufacturing resilience.

You will manage RFQ workflows and procure direct assembly materials such as leadframes, mold compounds, epoxies, and bonding wires, with direct sourcing for back-end machinery and spare parts. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in semiconductor supply chain.
• Experience with direct assembly materials and mold compounds.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement blueprints and RFQ workflows to evaluate cost efficiencies for manufacturing components.
• Procure direct assembly materials including leadframes, mold compounds, epoxies, bonding wires, and packaging materials.
• Direct sourcing for back-end assembly machinery, advanced components, and spare parts.
• Track global industrial trends, expenditure variables, and market supply mechanics for strategic decisions.
• Monitor global logistics vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation to maintain factory continuity.
