Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and develop team members to ensure effective performance.
Monitor job progress and provide regular feedback.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for direct/indirect materials.
Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers; negotiate contracts.
Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and cost.
Align material specs with Production, Engineering and Quality teams.
Manage inventory to minimize costs and ensure timely material availability.
Support new product development by sourcing materials for prototypes and scaling production.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and supplier diversification.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., REACH, RoHS) and ethical sourcing.
