Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring an Assembly Technician to support semiconductor and industrial equipment assembly in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will read BOMs and drawings, perform electrical wiring, and ensure quality through inspection and documentation.

We welcome entry to mid-level candidates with mechanical/electrical/electronic or mechatronics backgrounds or related hands-on manufacturing experience, with a rotating shift readiness.

Qualifications

• Entry to mid-level candidates with relevance in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering studies or hands-on manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and support the build of mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical components for semiconductor and industrial equipment.
• Read BOMs, engineering drawings, electrical diagrams and schematics; understand connections and basic electrical fundamentals.
• Perform electrical wiring and assembly of boards/power boards using hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Inspect components/products, identify defects, and escalate issues as needed.
• Support production activities including assembly, inspection, labeling, kitting and packaging.
• Follow work instructions, BOMs, safety procedures, cleanroom/ESD requirements, and maintain production records.
• Open to entry to mid-level candidates with relevant engineering studies or hands-on experience.
