Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Technician/Assemble to join our Batu Kawan factory. The role covers assembly, setup, and buyoff of semiconductor equipment, plus supporting daily production operations and quality improvements.

The candidate will read technical drawings, follow assembly instructions, and work with various tools and meters. Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering is required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Based in Batu Kawan, Penang.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering required.
• Equipment system build knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of wire harness manufacturing processes and materials.
• Experience with wire harness testing and validation.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Able to read and understand English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Able to work on shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, set up and buyoff semiconductor equipment system.
• Support daily production operation.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions and work orders.
• Use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to supervision.
• Support engineers in reducing cycle time and quality improvement projects.
• Perform daily 5S housekeeping of production area.
• Comply with safety regulations and keep areas clean and orderly.
