Job summary

Checkpoint Systems Sales (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Technician to install and troubleshoot security equipment for commercial premises. The role involves handling CCTV, door access control, and alarm systems, including programming devices and integrating components.

The successful candidate will perform cabling, mounting, and installation of card readers, while ensuring proper wiring and system checks. On-call rotation and report completion are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
• Background in electrical and electronic systems.
• Hardworking, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Installation & troubleshooting of security equipment such as CCTV, door access control systems, alarm security systems, and programming of devices for commercial premises.
• Cabling, mounting equipment, installing card readers, and integrating systems.
• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring.
• Providing technical support to end users covering all software and hardware-related issues.
• Completing required reports after task completion within the specified time frame.
• Participating in a scheduled on-call rotation.
