Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Barrier Gate, CCTV, Door Access System Technician to install and service security hardware across client sites. You will work on CCTV cameras, door access control, barrier gates, and related devices with a hands-on approach.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, basic networking, and the ability to read floor plans. You will coordinate with site supervisors and perform preventive maintenance, testing, and on-site troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on experience in security system installation.
• Proficient in cabling, drilling, conduit bending, and low-voltage termination.
• Basic networking knowledge including IP configuration and port forwarding.
• Must have a valid driving license; company vehicle provided for site work.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install CCTV cameras, door access control, alarms, and barrier gates.
• Mount and wire door locks, readers, turnstiles, and barrier gate loops.
• Terminate cables and configure devices for operation.
• Connect devices to local networks and assign IP addresses.
• Assist in setting up attendance tracking and door access software.
• Test installations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Diagnose wiring faults and troubleshoot on-site.
• Perform preventive maintenance and firmware updates.
• Read floor plans and coordinate with site supervisors.
