Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety of hotel guests, staff and property in Kuala Lumpur.

You will patrol hotel premises regularly, monitor CCTV, control access at staff entrances, and respond promptly to emergencies while maintaining accurate incident reports and coordinating with local authorities as required.

This full-time, permanent role includes meals provided and opportunities for promotion. Ability to commute to Kuala Lumpur is preferred.

Qualifications

• Patrol hotel premises regularly (lobby, guest floors, parking, back-of-house areas).
• Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity.
• Control access at staff entrances and ensure proper identification.
• Respond promptly to emergencies (fire alarm, medical cases, disturbances).
• Handle guest or staff complaints related to security issues.
• Conduct checks on fire safety equipment and emergency exits.
• Investigate incidents such as theft, accidents, or misconduct.
• Prepare and submit daily reports, incident reports, and occurrence logs accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with local authorities (police, fire department) when required.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety policies and procedures.
