Job summary

BIT Official is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our security operations team in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist in implementing and operating security solutions, collaborate with DevOps, IT, and business teams, and help strengthen our cybersecurity posture across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and strong communication in English and Chinese, with knowledge of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, VPNs, WAF, and SIEM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in security operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and operating security solutions (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability tools).
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT and business teams to align with security objectives.
• Evaluate security processes and recommend improvements to uphold high standards.
• Support IT and Security Audit by providing evidence for audits.
• Monitor security events to detect, investigate, and respond to incidents.
