Job summary

Ensign InfoSecurity in Malaysia is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to operate and maintain enterprise security platforms, including SIEM, SOAR, and TIP, ensuring availability, performance, and threat detection.

You will work with Cybersecurity Operations, DevOps, and vendors, provide guidance to junior engineers, contribute to change management, and participate in after-hours maintenance and DR exercises.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity operations, engineering, or security platform support.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting cybersecurity technologies in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of security log collection, ingestion, parsing, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support and administration of cybersecurity platforms (SIEM, SOAR, TIP, analytics).
• Monitor health and performance of platforms; proactively resolve issues.
• Plan and perform patches, upgrades and configuration changes per change management processes.
• Escalate complex issues to SMEs and coordinate resolution with vendors and teams.
• Review and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
