Job summary

Penang Hill Corporation is seeking a Security & Crowd Control Assistant on a renewable contract. You will patrol PHC premises, monitor security, and assist in visitors management to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Ideal candidates are 25 years or older with SPM or a Security Guard Skills Certificate (PPKKM), good health, and the ability to work shifts, including weekends. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, with no criminal record.

Qualifications

• Must have SPM or Security Guard Skills Certificate (PPKKM) or equivalent qualifications.
• Good health with strong physical endurance and fitness.
• Clear communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hourly patrols and security monitoring as directed by Security Officer.
• Make hourly duty notes in Safety Log Book.
• Maintain PHC property in good condition and safe.
• Ensure security control to prevent theft and sabotage.
• Prohibit visitors from bringing prohibited items and pets into the funicular.
• Report incidents to Security Officer immediately.
• Ensure no activities at PBBPP premises without approval.
• Receive and execute instructions from Security Officer.
• Assist in Visitors Management (Crowd Control & Que Management) with good PR.
• Perform other duties as directed by Security Officer and PHC Management.
