Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Secured Loans - Sales Performance & Financial Specialist to develop and maintain mortgage dashboards, monitor sales performance, analyze productivity, and support incentive schemes.

The role involves collaborating with Sales, Finance, Product, Risk, Operations and other distribution teams to drive business performance, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Mortgage business performance dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and management reports.
• Monitor daily, weekly, monthly and year-to-date sales performance against business targets.
• Perform sales performance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, productivity gaps, and areas requiring intervention.
• Track and analyze sales productivity by region, branch, sales channel, customer segment, and individual sales force.
• Work closely with Sales teams to improve productivity, conversion rates, and overall business performance.
• Support the development and evaluation of incentive schemes, sales campaigns, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Prepare annual budgets, business plans and periodic sales forecasts for the Mortgage business.
• Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
• Prepare quarterly Property Market Trend Analysis covering housing market performance, transaction volumes, property price trends, financing trends, economic indicators, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Perform portfolio profitability analysis by product, segment, geography, and distribution channel.
• Assess cross-selling performance and recommend initiatives to maximize customer value and deepen relationships.
• Prepare management presentations, business reviews, dashboards, and reports for senior management, executive committees, and business reviews.
• Coordinate monthly business performance reviews and annual planning exercises.
• Serve as a central point of reference for Mortgage business performance analytics and financial reporting.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Risk, Operations and other Distribution teams to deliver business objectives.
• Drive process improvements through automation, dashboard enhancements, reporting optimization and data analytics.
• Improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes through digital and automation initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms.
• Support ad-hoc strategic projects, transformation initiatives, and management requests.

Job Description
