Job summary

Tzu Chi International School Kuala Lumpur is seeking passionate and qualified educators to join our team as Secondary School Teacher across subjects including Mandarin, Mathematics, History, Science, Chemistry, Malay, and English.

Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans; deliver engaging lessons; assess progress; stay updated with teaching pedagogy and technologies; participate in co-curricular activities; serve as a positive role model for students in a loving, values‑driven learning

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Education/Teaching/Training; candidates with Degree in equivalent professional qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduate or candidates with relevant educational background but without teaching experience can be considered.
• Teaching experience in international school or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Strong commitment and passion for education.
• Highly motivated, responsible, compassionate and innovative.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scheme of work and lesson plans of the assigned teaching subject;
• Deliver lessons effectively according to the learning ability of the students within the class;
• Assess and evaluate students’ learning progress and prepare relevant reports for the principal and/parents;
• Keep abreast with the latest teaching pedagogy and technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning;
• Participate in extra co-curriculum activities with students and support all school activities and events;
• Being a role model for the students generally and in humanistic education specifically.
