Job Summary:

New Bridge International School is seeking a dedicated, professional, and collaborative Teacher to foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment for our diverse student body. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, managing classroom dynamics, tracking student progress, and actively participating in our vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Delivery & Planning: Develop engaging lesson plans and high-quality visual aids/teaching materials aligned with curriculum standards. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Classroom Management: Establish clear routines to maintain a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment. Manage student behaviour effectively according to the school's Code of Conduct.

Assessment & Feedback: Design, administer, and grade tests and examinations. Maintain accurate records and provide constructive feedback on student work within 3 days. Prepare student progress report cards ahead of Parent-Teacher Meetings.

Student Support & Well-being: Proactively monitor and intervene to address student academic or behavioural concerns, collaborating closely with parents and colleagues.

Administrative & School Community Duties: Manage administrative tasks (e.g., daily attendance, record-keeping). Participate in mandatory staff meetings, professional development workshops, and assist in organising school-wide events like Sports Days and cultural celebrations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Your performance will be periodically evaluated based on:

  • Effective class delivery and classroom management.
  • Student academic progress.
  • Timeliness of administrative tasks and grading.
  • Contribution to school initiatives and events.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Qualifications: At least a Degree or equivalent.
  • Professional Licensing: Must cooperate fully to obtain a Teaching Permit from the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM).
  • Background & Medical Checks: Must have a clean criminal record (local and international) and pass a mandatory pre-employment medical/psychiatric examination.
  • Ethics: High standards of professional ethics, integrity, and absolute adherence to student safeguarding and school confidentiality policies.
  • Tech Literacy: Willingness to use personal devices securely for limited work purposes (e.g., email, school portals) in compliance with school IT policy.

Working Hours

  • Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Mondays to Fridays). Must be available on Saturdays, during the same hours as required by the school's schedule.
