Job summary

Sri KDU International School Klang is seeking a responsible Laboratory Assistant to support safe, efficient operations of the science labs. You will prepare equipment and materials for lessons, assist teachers, and maintain inventory and safety standards.

You will inspect equipment, handle chemicals safely, and coordinate lab bookings while ensuring a well-equipped learning environment for students.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment is desirable.
• Ability to prepare, organise and maintain laboratory equipment and materials.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, apparatus, chemicals and materials for lessons and exams.
• Provide assistance to Science teachers and students during practical sessions.
• Inspect and test laboratory equipment before use and report faults.
• Maintain clean and properly stored laboratory equipment and materials.
• Coordinate laboratory bookings and practical lesson requirements with teachers.
• Assist with science fairs and school activities by preparing materials.
