Job summary

Randstad Malaysia represents a US-headquartered materials science leader seeking a Process Engineer to scale up cutting-edge R&D innovations into high-volume production at the Penang site. You will oversee New Product Introduction and manage technology transfers from the US HQ, ensuring robust process stability and product quality.

You will lead technology transfers from US R&D to Penang, optimize powder metallurgy lines such as Gas Atomization, VIM, HIP, rolling and sintering, and develop PIs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in materials field (Materials Science/Engineering or Metallurgy).
Master's or PhD preferred; strong track record in alloy or powder metallurgy.
2–5 years manufacturing experience in advanced materials or related fields.
Experience with NPI workflows and technology transfers is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead technology transfers and NPI from US R&D to Penang site.
Optimize GA, VIM, HIP, rolling, and sintering processes.
Develop and maintain Process Instructions and SOPs.
Investigate process anomalies and drive CAPA with root-cause analysis.
