Job summary

LAVU TECH SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior SAP SD specialist to provide functional support across order management, pricing, deliveries, billing and credit management.

You will analyze incidents, configure SD, write functional specs for ABAP, and support end-to-end order-to-cash processes including EDI intake and IDoc processing. Strong English and 10+ years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support across SAP SD module: order management, pricing, deliveries, shipping, billing, and credit management.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve incidents within service levels; escalate to SAP OSS if needed.
• Configure SD to meet business requirements and prepare functional specs for developments by ABAP team.
• Support master data governance and end-to-end order-to-cash processes (EDI-based order intake, IDoc processing).
• Triaging IDoc failures, interface issues; coordinate with integration and technical teams.
• Understand SD integration with MM, FI/CO, LE and 3rd-party platforms; participate in project workstreams.
• Support SIT and UAT: write/test scripts, execute scenarios, manage defects.
• Act as the functional point of contact for SD-related matters with stakeholders.

Job description

This role provides functional support across the SAP SD module, covering order management, pricing, deliveries, shipping, billing and credit management. You will analyse, troubleshoot and resolve incidents within agreed service levels, configure SD to meet business requirements, and prepare functional specifications for developments. You will support master data governance and end-to-end order-to-cash processes, including EDI-based order intake and IDoc processing.

Key responsibilities

Provide functional support across the SAP SD module, covering order management, pricing, deliveries, shipping, billing and credit management

Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve incidents within agreed service levels, escalating to SAP via OSS where root cause cannot be established internally

Configure SD to meet business requirements, and prepare functional specifications for developments handled by the ABAP team

Support master data governance across customer master, material master, pricing conditions and output determination

Support end-to-end order-to-cash processes, including EDI-based order intake and IDoc processing

Troubleshoot inbound and outbound IDoc failures, pricing condition errors and interface issues, working with integration and technical teams on resolution

Understand and support integration points between SD and MM, FI/CO, LE and third-party platforms

Participate in project workstreams, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration and cutover support

Support SIT and UAT phases: prepare and review test scripts, execute test scenarios, and manage defect triage and retesting

Act as the functional point of contact for SD-related matters with business stakeholders

About you

10+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience, including configuration and support

Minimum two full lifecycle implementations, plus experience in a support or AMS environment

Strong configuration knowledge across sales document types, item categories, schedule lines, pricing procedures, condition techniques, copy controls, delivery and billing configuration

Practical experience with IDoc processing, EDI order flows and interface troubleshooting

Working knowledge of SD integration with MM, FI/CO and LE, EWM/TM

Ability to write clear functional specifications and work effectively with ABAP developers

Experience with incident and change management tooling (ServiceNow)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex issues independently

Excellent written and spoken English, and confidence dealing directly with business stakeholders

Desirable: Experience in the FMCG, beverage or consumer goods sector; Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO or MuleSoft; Knowledge of SPS Commerce or comparable EDI platforms; Understanding of SAP EWM/TM transportation and warehouse processes; SAP SD certification
