Job summary

Fusion Consulting in Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to lead sales and distribution workstreams, with exposure to 3PL/4PL and Vistex environments.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver SAP implementations, enhancements, rollouts and supports across SD, MM, FI/CO, WM/EWM, and related integrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as SAP SD consultant; core SD (O2C) mastery.
• Experience in SAP SD configuration and functional design.
• Exposure to 3PL/4PL business models and processes.
• Experience with SAP implementations, rollouts or support projects.
• Familiarity with Vistex for pricing, rebates, incentives, or settlements.
• Strong integration knowledge between SD and other SAP modules.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong knowledge of sales and distribution processes, ideally with exposure to 3PL, 4PL, and/or Vistex environments. The role will involve working closely with business and technical teams to deliver SAP solutions across implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand sales, distribution, logistics, and commercial requirements.
• Provide functional expertise across SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and related business processes.
• Support SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration, and production support projects.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Configure and maintain SAP SD functionality based on project and business requirements.
• Work with 3PL and 4PL processes, including logistics service providers, external warehouse operations, transportation, order fulfilment, and related integrations where applicable.
• Support complex sales and distribution processes involving multiple parties, service providers, customers, and logistics partners.
• Provide functional support for Vistex solutions, particularly around pricing, rebates, incentives, commissions, royalties, and other commercial processes where applicable.
• Support integration between SAP SD, Vistex, MM, FI/CO, WM/EWM, and other relevant systems.
• Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
• Conduct functional testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and regression testing.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide effective solutions to business and technical teams.
• Support data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.
• Provide user support and knowledge transfer where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve and optimise existing sales and distribution processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant.
• Strong understanding of core SAP SD processes, including Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Experience with SAP SD configuration and functional design.
• Experience working on SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects.
• Exposure to 3PL and/or 4PL business models and processes.
• Experience with Vistex is highly preferred, particularly in relation to commercial, pricing, rebate, incentive, or settlement processes.
• Good understanding of integration between SD and other SAP modules.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Added Advantage

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong Vistex implementation or support experience.
• Experience with complex 3PL/4PL or outsourced logistics environments.
• Exposure to SAP TM, EWM, WM, MM, or other logistics-related solutions.
• Experience with pricing, rebates, chargebacks, commissions, or other commercial settlement processes.
• Experience supporting global or multi-country SAP projects.
• Relevant SAP or Vistex certifications.
