Job summary

The SNP Group is seeking a seasoned SAP MM Consultant to join our team in a hybrid setup. You will lead data migration, configure MM modules, and support SAP rollout projects across procurement and inventory management.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in SAP MM, ABAP exposure, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and multi-country implementations is a plus; we offer a competitive package and a flexible work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years as an SAP MM consultant or similar role.
• Experience in SAP MM data migration, configuration, implementation and support.
• Exposure to ABAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and procurement/inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• SAP MM Data Migration: deep knowledge of MM tables and data migration tools.
• SAP MM Module Configuration: configure MM to support procurement and inventory management.
• Implementation Support: lead or support SAP MM projects.
• Troubleshooting and Support: post-implementation issue resolution.
• Integration with Other Modules: ensure MM works with SD, WM, PP, FI/CO.
• Customization: tailor MM for material master, procurement, stock, vendor relations.
• Documentation: prepare functional specs, process docs, and user manuals.
• System Testing: conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.

What we’re looking for

SAP MM Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the SAP MM module and experience in data migration, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP solutions in a procurement and materials management environment. As an SAP MM Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the SAP MM module is aligned with business requirements and optimized for supply chain and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• SAP MM Data Migration: Well versed with in-depth knowledge on the MM related tables and data migration tools & concepts.
• SAP MM Module Configuration: Configure and implement SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions based on business requirements, ensuring that the system runs efficiently and effectively supports procurement and inventory management processes.
• Implementation Support: Act as a lead or support consultant during the SAP MM implementation and rollout projects. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and provide solutions within SAP MM.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues related to the SAP MM module. Troubleshoot technical and functional issues and work on system enhancements to meet changing business needs.
• Integration with Other Modules: Ensure seamless integration of the SAP MM module with other SAP modules, such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), SAP PP (Production Planning), and SAP FI/CO (Finance and Controlling).
• Customization: Customize SAP MM to meet specific business needs related to material master data, procurement processes, stock management, and vendor relationships.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed functional specifications, process documentation, and user manuals for SAP MM implementations and upgrades.
• System Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate the configured SAP MM solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements within the SAP MM module. Stay current on SAP best practices and new features related to the MM module.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. An SAP certification in MM or a related area is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an SAP MM consultant or in a similar role.
• Have some exposure in ABAP skills would be an added advantage!
• Proven experience in SAP MM module data migration, configuration, implementation, and support.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, purchase order processing, and vendor management within SAP.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with other SAP consultants.
• Expertise in SAP MM module configuration, including material master, procurement, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot SAP MM issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing small SAP projects or workstreams.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP WM (Warehouse Management) or SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) modules.
• Familiarity with global SAP Implementations, rollouts and multi-country/multi-currency environments.
