Job summary
SNP Group is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead SAP Data Migration solutions across the organization from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering SAP implementations with strong leadership and stakeholder communication.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience managing SAP data migration projects, end-to-end SAP implementations, and expertise across SAP modules. A PMP/SAP PM certification is highly valued in a hybrid work setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing SAP data migration projects.
- Substantial end-to-end SAP implementation experience.
- Proven track record of successfully leading SAP implementations (SAP FICO, MM, SD, etc.).
- Experience managing large, cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of SAP solutions, business processes, and system integration.
- Excellent project management skills with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- SAP Project Management Certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or recent SAP versions.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timeline, resources, and risk management.
- Define objectives, deliverables, and milestones for SAP projects.
- Coordinate execution of tasks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams of SAP consultants, business analysts, and tech staff.
- Facilitate communication among internal stakeholders, partners, and external consultants.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members.
- Serve as primary contact for stakeholders and partners; manage expectations.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
- Conduct regular project meetings and reviews for alignment with business goals.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure governance, quality standards, and best practices are followed.
- Develop and manage budgets; optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure financial reporting.
- Oversee SAP system testing, validation, and user acceptance processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and post-implementation support.
- Identify process improvements and lessons learned for future projects.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead, plan, and manage the SAP Data Migration solutions for our organization. The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including defining the project scope, coordinating project teams, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, and ensuring the successful integration and deployment of SAP systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills along with extensive knowledge of SAP systems.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Define and document project objectives, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Coordinate the execution of project tasks, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams consisting of SAP consultants, business analysts, and technical resources.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal stakeholders, Partners, and external consultants.
- Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and provide guidance as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and partners throughout the project.
- Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project meetings and reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and financial risks.
- Address project-related issues in a timely manner and elevate when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, quality standards, and industry best practices.

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who meets the following criteria:

- Preferably experience with system integration has added advantage
- Proven track record of successfully leading SAP implementations (preferably across various modules SAP FICO, MM, SD, etc.).

- Strong understanding of SAP solutions, business processes, and system integration.
- Excellent project management skills, including familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.

- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and handle high-pressure situations.
- SAP Project Management Certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
