Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Functional Consultant / Manager to design, configure, and deliver SAP IS-U solutions across core utility processes in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions for customer management, billing, metering and financial operations.

The role covers end-to-end transformation programs, enabling improved operational performance and customer experience through SAP-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 end-to-end SAP IS-U implementations across key project phases.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP IS-U across Customer/Device Management, Billing, Metering or FICA.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support analysis, design, configuration, testing and deployment of SAP IS-U solutions across utility processes.
• Configure Business Partner, Contract Account, Contract, Connection Object, Premises, Installation and Device Management.
• Design customer lifecycle processes (move‑in/out, device installation, replacement, removal).
• Configure billing and invoicing: rate structures, schemas, proration, reversals, print workbench.
• Support meter reading, register management, consumption processing and integration with AMI/MDUS and related systems.
• Configure SAP FICA processes: payment posting, clearing, dunning, installment plans, write-offs, reconciliation keys and postings.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Support integration, testing, defect resolution, cutover, go-live and post-production stabilization.

About the Role

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 end-to-end SAP IS-U implementations with involvement across key project phases.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP IS-U across Customer and Device Management, Billing, Metering, or FICA.
• Understanding of the SAP IS-U data model, business processes, and key transactions.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with SAP FI, FICA, and external utility systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, client-facing communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
