Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is seeking a seasoned SAP functional consultant to join our APAC team. The role focuses on PS and SD with 5+ years of SAP experience and a proven track record in full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

You will lead project-to-cash processes, align with FI/CO, and enable real-time analytics using Fiori, IDocs and BAPIs. Strong stakeholder communication with Project Managers and Finance Directors is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience with at least two full-cycle S/4HANA implementations focusing on PS and SD.
• Deep understanding of Project-to-Cash, Engineer-to-Order (ETO), and Professional Services automation.
• Ability to debug ABAP code, understand IDocs/BAPIs for integrations, and configure Fiori tiles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Project Architecture (PS): Design WBS, Network Activities, and Project Builder profiles for commercial projects.
• Sales Integration (SD): Configure Sales Order types, Item Categories, and Schedule Lines linked to WBS for cost/revenue tracking.
• Material Management (MM): Configure integration to Material Management areas.
• S/4HANA Enhancements: Leverage Embedded Analytics, Fiori apps for project management, and Real-time Revenue Recognition.
• Financial Integration: Ensure tight FI/CO integration for budget control, settlement rules, and project-based accounting.
• Project Lifecycle: Lead Scoping, Blueprinting, Realization, UAT, Cutover, and Hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Architecture (PS): Design and configure Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Network Activities, and Project Builder profiles tailored for commercial projects.
• Sales Integration (SD): Configure Sales Order types, Item Categories, and Schedule Lines that link directly to WBS elements for cost and revenue tracking.
• Material Management (MM): Configure integration to Material Management (PTP) areas
• S/4HANA Enhancements: Leverage S/4HANA-specific features like Embedded Analytics, Fiori apps for project management, and Real-time Revenue Recognition.
• Financial Integration: Ensure tight integration with FI/CO for budget control, budget check and result analysis, settlement rules, and project-based accounting.
• Project Lifecycle: Lead all phases of the project lifecycle: Scoping, Blueprinting (As-Is/To-Be), Realization (Configuration), UAT, Cutover, and Hypercare.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of SAP functional experience, with at least two full-cycle S/4HANA implementations focusing on PS and SD.
• Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of Project-to-Cash, Engineer-to-Order (ETO), and Professional Services automation.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to debug ABAP code, understand IDocs/BAPIs for integrations, and configure Fiori tiles.
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of explaining complex project accounting to both Project Managers and Finance Directors.
