About the role

Aitek Services Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced SAP Fixed Asset Accounting Consultant to join our growing consultancy team on a contract basis. This role is located in Petaling Jaya Selatan, Selangor, Malaysia. As a consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fixed asset accounting solutions and expertise to our clients, leveraging your deep knowledge of SAP systems and fixed asset management practices. This position is crucial in helping our clients optimise their financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards through effective fixed asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement SAP Fixed Asset Accounting (FI-AA) modules for clients across various industries
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their fixed asset accounting processes and business needs
• Provide expert consultation on fixed asset management best practices, depreciation strategies and asset lifecycle management
• Develop and document detailed specifications for fixed asset accounting solutions and system configurations
• Support clients through system testing, data migration and go-live activities for fixed asset accounting implementations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex fixed asset accounting issues and system configurations
• Train client staff on SAP Fixed Asset Accounting functionality and ongoing system usage
• Provide ongoing post-implementation support and optimisation recommendations
• Collaborate with other SAP consultants and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Document solutions, configurations and lessons learned for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with SAP Fixed Asset Accounting (FI-AA) modules
• Strong knowledge of fixed asset management processes, including asset acquisition, depreciation, disposal and revaluation
• Proven experience in implementing and configuring SAP Fixed Asset Accounting solutions for multiple clients
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards relevant to fixed asset management
• Experience with data migration and system testing methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients at all levels
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Professional certification or qualifications in SAP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Associate or higher) is advantageous
• Experience with ABAP customisations or enhancements for fixed asset accounting is preferred
• Familiarity with Malaysian accounting regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
