Job summary

Executive Compass is seeking a Production Planning - Control Senior Manager in Malaysia to drive SAP-based planning and shopfloor scheduling. The role involves coordinating with SCM and Production to meet output targets, optimise WIP distribution, and support investment decisions.

You will lead capacity planning, ensure staff readiness, and push for continuous improvements in lead time and SAP-related processes while achieving departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in planning within manufacturing.
• Experience in related industry preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SAP-based production planning and control functions.
• Establish and optimize shopfloor dispatching and scheduling systems.
• Coordinate with SCM, Production and related departments for loading and output management.
• Lead capacity and material planning, foresee constraints, and support investment decisions.
• Manage WIP distribution and optimize capacity utilization across stations.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects for lead time and SAP-related processes.
• Ensure staff readiness and policy adherence while achieving departmental goals.
