Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD, based in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Senior SAP Consultant to drive SAP ECC FI/CO solutions for a growing, international manufacturing footprint.

You will partner with finance, controlling, and operations teams worldwide to optimize end-to-end processes and deliver robust SAP solutions, while shaping and documenting the IT landscape under the COO for Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering and supporting ERP solutions (SAP ECC).
• Master’s degree in a relevant field; SAP Level 3 certification is advantageous.
• Experience with SDLC frameworks and DevOps concepts in SAP environments.
• Strong analytical ability and global stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and financial requirements into SAP solutions.
• Lead re-engineering, configuration and support of SAP ECC FI/CO.
• Coordinate cross-module integration with MM, PP and other SAP areas.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams.

We are looking for a Senior SAP Consultant to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is based at our new site in Penang, Malaysia. By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Asia, Europe and the United States.

To support our financial and operational processes across multiple international business units, we are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with deep expertise in SAP ECC.

You will collaborate closely with finance, controlling, manufacturing, and operational teams around the world to analyze business requirements, optimize end to end processess and deliver SAP solutions aligned with our needs. You are a seasoned professional who enjoys shaping, documenting, and continuously improving our business critical IT landscape, based in Malaysia and reporting directly to the COO for Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and translate business and financial requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions.

Lead the re‑engineering, functional improvement, configuration and support of key SAP ECC components, with primary responsibility for FI/CO.

Coordinate cross module integration with MM, PP, and other SAP areas across multiple international business units.

Collaborate effectively with technical teams (infrastructure, development, integration).

Produce clear and comprehensive functional specifications, process documentation, and end user training materials.

Experience & Qualifications

5+ years of experience delivering and supporting ERP solutions (SAP ECC).

Master’s degree in a relevant field. SAP Level 3 or higher certification is a significant advantage.

Demonstrated experience with SDLC frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).; Practical understanding of DevOps concepts and tools supporting testing, transport automation, or CI/CD within enterprise SAP environments.

Strong analytical ability to model, challenge, and improve complex business processes.

Excellent global stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Hands‑on mindset with the ability and interest to design, document, and significantly improve a small but strategically important IT environment.

Experience in a global high tech manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
