Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD is seeking a Senior SAP Consultant to join our team in Penang, Malaysia. The role focuses on SAP ECC FI/CO and cross‑module integrations to support global finance and manufacturing operations.

You will analyze business requirements, optimize end-to-end processes, and deliver SAP solutions aligned with our needs. This position reports to the COO for Southeast Asia and is based in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering and supporting ERP solutions (SAP ECC).
• Master’s degree in a relevant field; SAP Level 3 or higher certification is an advantage.
• Experience with SDLC frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and DevOps concepts.
• Strong analytical ability to model and improve complex processes.
• Excellent global stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Hands-on mindset to design, document, and significantly improve a strategic IT environment.
• Experience in a global high tech manufacturing environment is desirable.

We are looking for a Senior SAP Consultant to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is based at our new site in Penang, Malaysia. By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Asia, Europe and the United States.

To support our financial and operational processes across multiple international business units, we are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with deep expertise in SAP ECC.

You will collaborate closely with finance, controlling, manufacturing, and operational teams around the world to analyze business requirements, optimize end to end processess and deliver SAP solutions aligned with our needs. You are a seasoned professional who enjoys shaping, documenting, and continuously improving our business critical IT landscape, based in Malaysia and reporting directly to the COO for Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and translate business and financial requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions.

Lead the re‑engineering, functional improvement, configuration and support of key SAP ECC components, with primary responsibility for FI/CO.

Coordinate cross module integration with MM, PP, and other SAP areas across multiple international business units.

Collaborate effectively with technical teams (infrastructure, development, integration).

Produce clear and comprehensive functional specifications, process documentation, and end user training materials.

Experience & Qualifications

5+ years of experience delivering and supporting ERP solutions (SAP ECC).

Master’s degree in a relevant field. SAP Level 3 or higher certification is a significant advantage.

Demonstrated experience with SDLC frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).; Practical understanding of DevOps concepts and tools supporting testing, transport automation, or CI/CD within enterprise SAP environments.

Strong analytical ability to model, challenge, and improve complex business processes.

Excellent global stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Hands‑on mindset with the ability and interest to design, document, and significantly improve a small but strategically important IT environment.

Experience in a global high tech manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
