Job summary

E-Outsource Asia in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced SAP CLM/RE-FX functional consultant to lead full‑lifecycle implementations, from blueprinting to hypercare, with focus on IFRS 16/ASC 842 compliance.

You will collaborate with Finance and IT teams, map data, develop functional specs, perform UAT, and support month-end close while ensuring accurate lease accounting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience with at least 1–2 full-lifecycle implementations specializing in SAP CLM or SAP RE-FX (Lease Accounting).
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Real Estate (RE-FX) contract management architecture, valuation rules, cash flows, and KSFs.
• Ability to perform SAP CLM (Contract and Lease Management)/MFRS16 in SAP S4/HANA, to use SAP Fiori applications, gather, analyze, and manage user requirements.
• Ability to prepare Functional specification documentation.
• Ability to support and troubleshoot issues faced by users in CLM mont
• Language requirement: Mandarin and English

Responsibilities

• Lead or play a key functional role in full-lifecycle SAP CLM / RE-FX implementations, covering blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, and hypercare.
• Configure and maintain contract management, valuation rules, and accounting settings for ROU assets and lease liabilities.
• Ensure SAP CLM aligns with IFRS 16 and ASC 842, including modifications, reassessments, terminations, and indexations.
• Manage integration between SAP CLM/RE-FX and FI modules for vendor-side leases.
• Map and migrate historical lease data from legacy systems into SAP CLM using standard data migration tools.
• Author functional specs for custom developments (RICEFW) and develop test scripts for UAT.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors to troubleshoot valuation discrepancies and month-end closing bottlenecks.

Job description

• Lead or play a key functional role in full-lifecycle SAP CLM / RE-FX implementations, covering business blueprinting, system configuration, testing, data migration, and hypercare.
• Configure and maintain contract management, valuation rules, interest rate matrices, and accounting settings for Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities.
• Ensure the SAP CLM solution precisely matches statutory guidelines for IFRS 16 and ASC 842, accommodating lease modifications, reassessments, early terminations, and indexations.
• Manage tight integration between SAP CLM/RE-FX and core modules, including SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA), General Ledger (FI-GL), Controlling (CO), and Procurement (MM) for vendor-side leases.
• Map, clean, and migrate complex historical lease data and active contract portfolios from legacy systems or Excel trackers into SAP CLM using standard data migration tools.
• Author functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW), build comprehensive test scripts, and orchestrate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside Corporate Accounting teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for financial auditors and accounting teams to troubleshoot valuation discrepancies, system errors, and month-end closing bottlenecks.

Profile

• Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on functional experience in SAP, with a proven track record of at least 1–2 full-lifecycle implementations specializing in SAP CLM or SAP RE-FX (Lease Accounting).
