DXC Technology Malaysia is seeking a SAP BPC Consultant to support planning, consolidation, and financial reporting for enterprise clients, driving enhancements and ensuring system stability during MEC, QEC, and YEC.

Lead L3 support, mentor junior consultants, review designs, and deliver change requests while partnering with finance users and leadership to translate requirements into SAP BPC solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SAP BPC experience.
• Experience in AMS/support environment with enterprise clients.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 SAP BPC support for incidents, requests, and problem management.
• Lead troubleshooting of data inconsistencies, process chain failures, and reporting issues.
• Ensure system availability during MEC/QEC/YEC and lead end-to-end CR delivery (analysis, design, build, test, deploy).
• Mentor junior consultants, review designs, manage escalations, and promote knowledge sharing.

Job description

We are seeking a SAP BPC Consultant to support enterprise-level planning, consolidation, and financial reporting solutions. The role involves leading critical AMS support operations, driving enhancements, and ensuring system stability during key financial cycles such as Month-End Close (MEC), Quarter-End Close (QEC), and Year-End Close (YEC). This position requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder engagement, and leadership in managing both support and project-based deliverables.

Application Support & Operations

• Provide L3-level support for SAP BPC incidents, service requests, and problem management
• Lead troubleshooting of: Data inconsistencies Process chain failures Consolidation and reporting issues
• Ensure system availability and performance during critical closing cycles (MEC/QEC/YEC)
  
• Lead end-to-end delivery of Change Requests (CRs) including: Requirement analysis Effort estimation and solution design Build, testing, and deployment
• Drive continuous improvements in planning, forecasting, and consolidation processes
  

Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary interface with finance users, business stakeholders, and leadership
• Provide functional advisory on: Financial planning & budgeting Consolidation rules and reporting structures
• Translate business requirements into SAP BPC solutions
  

Technical & Functional Leadership

• Lead and mentor junior consultants
• Review solution designs and ensure adherence to best practices
• Manage escalations and provide root cause analysis for recurring issues
• Drive knowledge sharing and documentation standards

Required Skills & Experience

Core Expertise

• Strong experience in SAP BPC (Planning & Consolidation)
• Hands-on experience in: EPM reporting Data loads and validations BPF (Business Process Flow)
• Good understanding of financial processes (FICO integration)

Experience Level

• 3+ years in SAP BPC
• Experience in AMS / support environment with exposure to enterprise clients

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in multi-country finance environments
• Exposure to S/4HANA Finance or migration projects
• Knowledge of IFRS / financial compliance frameworks
