Job summary

Lam Research in Penang is seeking a Sales Operations Supervisor to support APAC regional operations. You will collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, and drive data-driven improvements while organizing cross-functional projects to achieve operational excellence.

You’ll collaborate with overseas teams, manage shipment configurations, and ensure timely delivery. Mandarin proficiency, a related bachelor's degree, and CRM/SAP familiarity are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely forecasts for Booking/Shipment/Revenue to executives.

• Manage configuration, non-standard requests, and shipment slotting.
• Review customer POs for compliance with terms and shipments.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.

The impact you’ll make

Join Lam as a Sales Operations Supervisor, where you'll supports regional business operations across APAC stakeholders. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.

What You’ll Do

• Works with company-wide cross functional teams to provide timely and accurate forecasts to executive teams on Booking/Shipment/Revenueu
• Need to be able to quickly come up to speed on company products and leverage that learning to manage forecasts
• Develop/maintain close relationship with overseas Sales and Regional Business Operations team to achieve the desired forecast objectives; align with their input as well as provide directions back to the team to achieve company goals on a regular basis
• Manage configuration, non-standard requests, shipment slotting, and shipment deliver
• Collaborate with overseas Account team and Order Fulfillment team to understand customer’s specifications and configuration needs
• Lead shipment configuration reviews with Manufacturing teams (based in both US and overseas) and Product Groups (based both in US and overseas) and provide timely and accurate configuration content to Supply Chain & Manufacturing team and achieve on-time tool delivery
• Review and process customers purchase orders; ensure PO compliance to established commercial and legal terms for all shipments
• Communicate with account teams on committed ship dates, and manage any ship date miss and recovery
• Coordinate with manufacturing and shipping & logistic teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Respond to any post-delivery issues, drive mitigation plan and root cause analysis by leading cross-functional alignment
• Assist Corporate Business Development and Account Teams in preparing & hosting customer meeting to improve business outcome

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required – any degree (Business & Engineering, Supply Chain)
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience in semiconductor industry
• Proficient in communicating in Mandarin Chinese language
• Adaptable, flexible, open for new way of doing things
• Good communication skills, bias to action, results driven
• Ability to multi-task, work in a cross-functional environment, lead and influence others for solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Operations background in semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of CRM/SAP
