Job summary

A marine equipment and service provider is seeking a Sales Manager to drive sales in the marine and offshore sectors. This role involves identifying and closing complex sales, managing customer relationships, and preparing proposals. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in telecommunications or electrical engineering and 4-8 years of relevant sales experience. Knowledge of maritime services is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 4 - 8 years relevant working experience with a good sales track record.
  • Knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.
  • Experience as Ex-Radio Officers is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close complex sales to marine and offshore customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers for new selling opportunities.
  • Prepare and oversee production of proposals and negotiate contracts.

Job description

Jason Marine Group Limited is a Maritime-centric Equipment and Service Provider based in Singapore, providing marine electronics and communications equipment/services and integration services for the commercial marine and offshore industries in Singapore, Asia and Europe regions.

Placed in the care of Head of Marine Business Unit (BU), and working closely/ reporting to the Sales Director (Marine), the Sales Manager (Marine) will

· Identifies, qualifies, and closes complex sales to new and existing Marine, Offshore Oil and Gas customers.

· Develops, maintains, and advances relationships with current and potential customers to cultivate new selling opportunities.

· Documents and communicates the voice of customer to internal stakeholders.

· Leverages resources and knowledge of Marine BU products, services, processes, and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth.

· Prepares or oversees the production of proposals and negotiates contracts for management approval.

· May participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events to keep abreast of industry developments, and seek potential customers.

· Deliver presentations to prospective customers within territory, or as required.

· Able to interact and influence key decision maker in senior position.

· Any other matters assigned by superior/ company.

Other Requirements

· Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering.

· 4 - 8 years relevant working experience with good sales track record.

· Good sales network in the marine industry and knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.

· Experience as Ex-Radio Officers, are added advantages.

· Good customer contacts withship managers/owners will be an advantage

· Possess excellent business acumen, communication & presentation skills.
