GoEV Sdn Bhd, at the TQ WULING Glenmarie flagship showroom in Selangor, seeks a Sales Manager (Automotive) to lead our sales team. This full-time role offers RM10,000 monthly plus incentives and overriding.

You will drive revenue, mentor staff, manage the full sales cycle from lead to closure, and build strong client partnerships. Requires 2–3 years in automotive sales leadership, English and Bahasa Malaysia, a valid licence, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automotive sales management or a similar senior sales role.
• Proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving targets.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and market dynamics.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; valid driving licence and willingness to travel.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager (Automotive) to join GoEV Sdn Bhd at TQ WULING Glenmarie flagship showroom. This is a full-time position based in Glenmarie, Selangor, offering an exciting opportunity to lead our sales operations within the dynamic automotive sector. The role includes an attractive opportunity to earn RM10,000 monthly (with sales incentive / overriding).

As Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and establishing TQ WULING as a market leader in the automotive industry. This role reports directly to senior management and carries significant responsibility for achieving and exceeding sales targets whilst maintaining exceptional customer relationships.

What you'll be doing

• Leading, motivating and developing a sales team to achieve departmental and company-wide sales objectives
• Establishing and implementing effective sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities
• Managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to deal closure and customer retention
• Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients, distributors and business partners
• Monitoring sales performance metrics and providing regular reports and forecasts to senior management
• Identifying market trends, competitive positioning and opportunities for business expansion
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations and ethical sales practices
• Training, coaching and mentoring sales staff to enhance their skills and performance
• Developing and managing sales budgets and resource allocation

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in automotive sales management or a similar senior sales role
• Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, including vehicle sales, customer preferences and market dynamics
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Proficiency in sales CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights
• Leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are advantageous
