Job summary

Linde Malaysia Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Sales Manager for Electronics Specialty Gases (ESG) in Selangor. You will drive revenue growth with existing customers and identify new opportunities, while developing deep product and market knowledge.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role, you will develop strategies to grow electronics specialty gases (ESG) revenue and profitability by adapting to changing market conditions and identifying opportunities within existing and potential customer segments
• Furthermore, you will drive revenue growth with existing customers by introducing new products and services, while leveraging established customer relationships. You will also identify potential customers within the electronics segment, conduct research on their production processes and application needs, and position Linde's solutions effectively
• Product and market expertise is an important part of your role. You will develop a deep understanding of our products' value propositions, become a subject matter expert in our offerings, internal processes, and operations, and stay informed of industry developments. You will collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to support business objectives
• Additionally, you will ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions that meet customer needs and objectives. You will prepare business proposals, negotiate with key stakeholders, and build relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, users, and technical stakeholders within customer organizations
• You will also monitor competitor activities, including market position, strengths, weaknesses, and likely market behavior. In addition, you will manage ESG products in compliance with all applicable local, state, and national regulations, and support product, process, engineering changes, and new product launches to ensure smooth and timely implementation

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or Chemical Engineering (preferred)
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic gases
• Experience in wafer fabrication/gas-related equipment business is an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English and local language.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and networking skills
• Good knowledge of ESG products, including hazard classifications, chemical properties, and compatibilities
• Proficient in P&L management, costing, and pricing analysis
• Strong customer relationship management and commercial negotiation skills
• Ability to work with quality and supply chain teams to resolve business, supply chain, and quality issues
• Experience in RFQ, PCN, and supply planning activities with customers
• Willingness to travel and possession of a valid driving license
• Experience in engineering projects and participation in post-graduate development programs would be beneficial.
