Pathgreen Energy in Malaysia is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to generate new business opportunities, manage customer relationships, and meet monthly and annual targets. You will assess customers' energy needs, propose Solar PV solutions, prepare proposals, and conduct site visits to move opportunities through the sales cycle.
You'll build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, deliver clear product briefs, handle objections, and drive opportunities to close.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets. The role involves understanding customers’ energy requirements, recommending suitable Solar PV solutions, preparing proposals, conducting site visits, and managing the sales process from lead generation through to project handover.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, digital channels, and other business development activities.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and new business opportunities.
Develop, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Follow up consistently with leads and prospects to convert opportunities into sales.
Understand customers’ electricity consumption, energy requirements, and business needs.
Recommend suitable Solar PV solutions based on customer requirements and site conditions.
Conduct site visits and preliminary assessments to evaluate solar installation potential.
Prepare and present professional proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements.
Explain Solar PV system design, benefits, estimated savings, and return on investment in a clear and professional manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
Provide professional advice, product information, and support throughout the sales process.
Respond promptly to customer enquiries and follow up on quotations and proposals.
Maintain strong customer engagement to encourage referrals and repeat business.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.
Conduct effective sales presentations and product briefings to prospective customers.
Communicate the technical and financial benefits of Solar PV solutions effectively.
Handle customer objections and negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines.
Drive sales opportunities toward successful closing and contract signing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
Prepare regular sales activity and pipeline reports as required.
Ensure all required sales documentation is complete and properly maintained.
Coordinate project handovers with the Engineering, Project, and Operations teams after sales confirmation.
Work closely with Engineering, Project, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
Provide accurate customer and project information during the handover process.
Share market feedback, customer insights, and sales best practices with the team.
Participate in company events, exhibitions, roadshows, and other business development activities when required.

Minimum 1–3 years of proven sales experience in any industry will be an added advantage.
Experience in Solar PV, renewable energy, electrical, construction, property, or related industries is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Multilingual ability, particularly English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or other local dialects, is highly preferred.
Willing to travel locally and regionally for customer meetings, site visits, presentations, exhibitions, and business development activities.
Possess own transport and a valid driving licence.
