Job summary

eco-shop Malaysia in Penang is hiring a retail cashier to join our store at Prangin Mall, George Town. You will assist customers, handle cash transactions, and monitor stock with attention to detail.

Requirements include High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent, basic math, and prior retail or customer service experience. You must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and addressing inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock, to avoid shortages.
