Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a friendly cashier to assist customers and process purchases at the counter in our Johor, Muar location. You will deliver accurate service, balance cash, and maintain stock levels while ensuring a clean and welcoming counter area.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, engaging with customers, and following store procedures. This role requires good math, basic computer skills, and the ability to work weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and addressing inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock, to avoid shortages.
