Job summary

ECO-SHOP Marketing Berhad (Retail) is seeking a customer-focused retail assistant in Johor to greet shoppers, promote products, and support stock and housekeeping tasks. The role includes occasional cashier duties and promotions, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Based in Bandar Baru Seri Alam, Masai, Johor, the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and provide excellent service to customers while keeping the store visually

Qualifications

• Greet and assist customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Provide product knowledge and upsell to meet sales targets.
• Basic stock duties: unloading, organizing, and handling goods during stock arrivals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness, organize shelves, and restock as needed.
• Ensure products are labeled and displayed at eye level.
• Inventory management: monitor stock levels and report discrepancies.
• Arrange product displays and store promotions.
• Act as replacement cashier when needed.
• Keep store clean, organized, and visually appealing; dispose of trash and keep aisles and storerooms neat.

Job description

Promote products, provide product knowledge, and upsell to meet sales targets.

Maintain store cleanliness, organize shelves, and restock products as needed.

Ensure products are correctly labeled and displayed at eye level.

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, dispose of trash, and keep aisles and storerooms neatly arranged.

Job Requirements:

Minimum SPM or equivalent; higher qualifications are a plus.

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive attitude, with a customer-centric approach.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weights.
