Job summary

BigHire is seeking a Sales Assistant in Shah Alam to support daily store operations at Plaza Jelutong. You will handle cash, POS transactions, customer inquiries, and shelf replenishment while ensuring accuracy and excellent service.

• Minimum 1 year cashier experience or fresh graduates with at least SPM level.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Generate POS IDs and manage cash float distribution upon approval.
• Ensure daily sales collection (cash, card, e-wallet) matches cashier reports.
• Prepare and verify cash packing as per daily sales reports and SOP.
• Submit cashier documents for approval and forward to accounts.
• Assist in scheduling and ensuring sufficient cashier manpower.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, refunds, returns, and exchanges politely.
• Verify and resolve cashier transaction errors (voids, cancellations, etc.).
• Train subordinates and monitor their performance progress.
• Maintain cashier area tidiness, grooming, and service standards.
• Communicate sales, marketing, and promotional updates to staff.
• Perform general operational tasks and ad-hoc duties as needed.
