Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Manage and grow sales within the portfolio, achieving revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across coatings, resins, adhesives, ink, and related industries.
- Support the full sales cycle including leads generation, product promotion, presentations, trials, and closing.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and technical recommendations to customers.
Key Account Management
- Build strong long‑term relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Monitor customer performance, address issues proactively, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Conduct regular customer visits to reinforce partnerships and explore new application areas.
Technical & Product Support
- Work closely with principals and suppliers on product positioning, application support, and technical troubleshooting.
- Coordinate product trials, sampling, and technical evaluations with customers.
- Provide product training and application knowledge to customers and internal teams when required.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track market trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and industry developments within the coating & resin space.
- Provide timely sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance analysis to management.
- Support development of marketing initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams (Technical, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance) to ensure seamless order processing and after-sales service.
- Coordinate with regional portfolio managers and product specialists for alignment on pricing, strategy, and product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales within the coatings, resins, inks, adhesives, or specialty chemicals industries.
- Strong understanding of raw materials, formulation concepts, and application processes used in coatings or resin systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple key accounts effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, technical meetings, and industry events.
