Job summary

Zapin Holdings Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking friendly, energetic Retail Sales Assistants to join our duty-free retail team. You will provide excellent customer service, promote a variety of duty-free products, including alcoholic beverages, chocolates, perfumes and fragrances, and work toward individual sales targets.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Experience in duty-free or FMCG retail is advantageous; friendly, confident and customer-service oriented candidates will thrive.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience is an advantage.
• Experience in duty-free, alcohol, fragrance, cosmetics or FMCG retail will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates / candidates without retail experience are welcome to apply.
• Friendly, confident and customer-service oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable handling and selling alcoholic products.
• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
• Additional languages or dialects will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Provide product information and maintain knowledge of current promotions.
• Work towards individual and store sales targets.

• Replenish stock and ensure products are properly displayed, labelled and priced.
• Maintain attractive and organized merchandise displays.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items to the Supervisor or Store Manager.
• Assist with stock receiving, stock counting and stock take.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the retail outlet.
• Follow company SOPs for sales, inventory, cash handling, security and duty-free operations.
• Perform other retail-related duties assigned by the Supervisor or Store Manager.
