Job summary

Rifeng Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies in line with OSHA regulations and local Malaysian standards in Port Klang.

The role emphasizes proactive risk identification and training delivery to safeguard every employee. You will conduct regular site inspections, manage PPE inventory, investigate incidents, maintain safety records, and promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA regulations and local Malaysian standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance.
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs covering hazard communication, emergency preparedness, PPE use.
  • Manage procurement, distribution, and inventory of PPE to ensure safe, well-maintained gear.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses; determine root causes and implement preventative actions.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and compliance documentation, including training logs and inspection reports.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and act as a point of contact for safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with management to integrate safety considerations into operational planning and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to waste management, emissions, and hazardous materials handling.
  • Prepare and submit regular safety performance reports to senior management.

Responsibilities
