Rifeng Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor to develop and implement safety policies in line with OSHA and local standards.
The role requires conducting regular site inspections, risk assessments, and driving a proactive safety culture across Pelabuhan Klang operations. The successful candidate will organize safety training across the workforce, manage PPE procurement and inventory, investigate incidents, and maintain compliance documentation,
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and local Malaysian standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs to all employees, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency preparedness, safe work practices, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Manage the procurement, distribution, and inventory of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensuring that employees have access to appropriate and well-maintained safety gear.
Investigate all workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
Maintain accurate safety records, including training logs, inspection reports, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Foster a strong safety culture throughout the organization by promoting safety awareness, encouraging employee participation in safety initiatives, and acting as a point of contact for safety concerns.
Collaborate with management and department heads to integrate safety considerations into all operational planning and decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations related to waste management, emissions, and hazardous materials handling.
Prepare and submit regular safety performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
