Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee safety across warehouse and project operations in Johor Bahru, with relocation to Kulai near JPO. The role involves monitoring safety compliance, inspections, and safety documentation while supporting the implementation of procedures.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in OSH/ES&H, strong communication and reporting skills, and be willing to travel between Malaysia and Singapore. Salary is RM3,500–RM5,000 monthly.

Location: Dato' Onn, Taman Eco, Johor Bahru
Relocation: The company is expected to relocate to Kulai, near Johor Premium Outlets (JPO)
Salary: RM3,500 – RM5,000 per month
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Officer to oversee workplace safety across warehouse and project operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring safety compliance, conducting inspections, preparing safety documentation, and supporting the implementation of safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor workplace safety across warehouse and project operations.

Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), SOPs, and safety procedures.

Ensure employees comply with workplace safety rules, procedures, and requirements.

Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings when required.

Investigate workplace incidents and prepare relevant reports.

Support internal and external safety audits.

Follow up on corrective and preventive actions related to safety issues.

Work closely with warehouse and project teams to improve workplace safety practices.

Travel between Malaysia and Singapore when required.

Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field.

Relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, construction, project operations, or manufacturing safety will be an advantage.

Good knowledge of workplace safety practices, Risk Assessment, SOPs, and safety procedures.

Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Able to conduct safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.

Able to work independently and manage safety matters effectively.

Willing to travel between Malaysia and Singapore when required.

Willing to work in Dato' Onn initially and relocate to Kulai near JPO upon company relocation.
