TK Elevator Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a senior OSH leader to spearhead the company's safety strategy across Malaysia. The position requires advising management on safety performance, risk and compliance, and fostering a culture of safety excellence with leadership accountability.
Responsibilities include implementing safety programmes, contractor safety management, audits and investigations, and liaison with regulators. Travel across Malaysia to project sites will be regular.
Lead and drive the company's Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) strategy, policies, and safety initiatives across Malaysia.
Advise management on safety performance, risks, compliance requirements, and improvement opportunities.
Promote a strong safety culture and support leadership accountability for safe operations.
Implement and monitor safety programmes, management safety routines, and contractor safety management processes.
Ensure effective onboarding, competency assessment, and performance monitoring of contractors and subcontractors.
Provide safety oversight and support for Service, New Installation (NI), Modernization (MOD), Major Repair, and other field operations.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, workplace assessments, and site visits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Lead or support investigations of incidents, near misses, and safety observations, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian OSH legislation, industry standards, and company safety requirements.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, customers, and external stakeholders on safety-related matters when required.
Develop and coordinate safety training, awareness programmes, and competency development initiatives.
Monitor safety KPIs, prepare management reports, and recommend improvement actions.
Collaborate with regional and global safety teams to implement and sustain safety excellence initiatives.
Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related discipline.
Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH Malaysia.
Minimum 8-10 years of OSH experience, preferably in construction, engineering, industrial, or elevator/escalator industries.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulations and risk management practices.
Experience managing contractors, conducting audits, and leading incident investigations.
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
Willing to travel across Malaysia and visit project/job sites regularly.
