Job summary

Ann Joo Resources Berhad is seeking a Safety & Health Officer to implement, monitor, and enforce occupational safety and health requirements across TNB project sites in Malaysia. The SHO will ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH regulations, TNB safety standards, and company HSE policies, promoting a strong safety culture through inspections and training.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in OSH/Engineering, DOSH SHO recognition, and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with preference

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Registered DOSH SHO or equivalent where required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety & Health Officer in construction, utility, infrastructure, or power projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the HSE Management System for projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994/2022 and DOSH regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and identify unsafe conditions or practices.
• Prepare and monitor HIRARC and JSA for activities.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and inductions.
• Monitor PTW and LOTO and other safe work systems.
• Ensure proper PPE usage on site.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and initiate corrective actions.
• Oversee high-risk activities and emergency preparedness.
