Jora Malaysia is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and monitor Occupational Safety and Health policies at construction sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and project safety requirements.
You will perform daily and periodic site inspections, identify hazards, coordinate toolbox talks, provide safety inductions, investigate incidents, and lead emergency drills to protect workers, subcontractors and visitors.

Implement and monitor the company's Occupational Safety and Health policies and procedures at the construction site.
Ensure construction activities comply with applicable OSHA requirements, regulations, guidelines and project safety requirements.
Conduct daily and periodic safety inspections of the construction site.
Identify hazards and assess potential risks associated with construction activities.
Assist in preparing and reviewing HIRARC/risk assessments for construction activities.
Conduct and coordinate toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
Provide safety induction for new employees, workers, subcontractors and visitors.
Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences and incidents.
Coordinate emergency drills such as fire, evacuation, rescue and other relevant exercises.
