C N H Group is seeking a Site Safety Officer to support construction sites in Malaysia. You will conduct daily safety inspections, enforce DOSH and company rules, and drive HIRARC-based risk controls while coordinating with management and subcontractors.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with workers, subcontractors, and site management.
Able to work independently and make decisions on site safety matters.
Willing to work at construction sites and handle site-related safety responsibilities.

Conduct daily site inspections.
Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure safe working practices.
Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Ensure compliance with Malaysia OSHA requirements, DOSH requirements, and company safety procedures.
Ensure required safety signage, barricades, PPE, and emergency arrangements are in place.
Conduct and review HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control).
Recommend control measures for identified hazards.
Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
Provide induction and safety training to new workers.
Promote safety awareness among workers.
Ensure workers use appropriate PPE such as safety helmets, safety shoes, reflective vests, harnesses, and other required protection.
Monitor PPE compliance.
Monitor scaffolding, ladders, working platforms, and fall-protection systems.
Monitor lifting operations, excavation, hot work, confined spaces, and other high-risk activities.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences.
Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
Follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed.
Maintain safety inspection records, toolbox meeting records, training records, and incident reports.
Keep relevant permits, risk assessments, and safety documentation updated.
Ensure emergency procedures are established.
Organise or participate in emergency drills.
Ensure first-aid equipment and emergency contacts are available.
Advise the Project Manager/Site Manager on safety matters.
Coordinate with subcontractors regarding safety requirements.
Liaise with DOSH/JKKP and other relevant authorities when required.
