REEMOTELY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Junior to Mid SaaS Tester for a Singapore-based client, to remotely test a SaaS product, focusing on software functionality with minor hardware integration.

You will design and document test cases, report bugs, and collaborate with the product manager to support sprint deadlines. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will work full-time from home, Monday to Friday, 9 AM–6 PM SGT.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience as a SaaS Tester.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Fluent in English and Chinese (written & verbal).
Skilled in writing and maintaining test cases for SaaS products.
Experienced in bug reporting and tracking with clear replication steps.
Capable of root cause analysis on technical issues.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex software issues.
High attention to detail in test design and documentation.

Job description

Reemotely is a Singapore-founded staffing firm with a strategic operational presence in Malaysia, specialising in agile, high-quality remote staffing solutions that drive organisational growth.

Position Overview & Role Focus

One of our clients is a construction technology company in Singapore, built by construction engineers for the construction industry. We are looking for an experienced SaaS Tester to conduct testing of the company's SaaS product, covering mostly software functionality with minor hardware integration. The tester will design and document test cases, report and document bugs, suggest technical root cause analysis, and work closely with the product manager to support sprint deadlines.

Level: Junior to Mid

Work Arrangement: Full-time Independent Contractor, Remote (Kuala Lumpur-based WFH), 5-day work week, 40 hours per week

Working Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM (SGT, GMT+8)

Compensation Package: Salary, Medical Leave & Monthy Day-Off

Salary Range: MYR 3,600 - 5,100

Salary Structure:

The position includes an initial three (3) months of review period, during which the starting salary will be paid at 80%.

This initial review period aims to thoroughly determine the suitability of remote talent in order to assess long-term employability or identify suitable replacements.

Upon successful completion of the probation period (at three months), the salary will be increased to 100% of the agreed amount.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct testing of SaaS product, covering mostly software functionality with minor hardware integration.

Design and document test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of product features.

Report and document bugs, including clear replication steps.

Suggest technical root cause analysis (RCA) for identified bugs.

Work closely with the product manager to support sprint planning and ensure releases meet deadlines.
