Job summary

Rubberflex Sdn Bhd is seeking a Chemist to join the Compounding/Extrusion team in Bentong, Malaysia. The role involves testing, analysis and optimization of natural latex and related chemicals used in vulcanized rubber thread production.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical graduate with laboratory knowledge and desire to contribute to QA and process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemistry-related field with strong analytical skills.
• Fresh graduates with exemplary grades will be considered.
• CGPA above 3.0 and strong science/mathematics background.
• Able to conduct analytical work independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing and analysis of latex, compounding and coagulating materials (MST, pH, TSC, ammonia).
• Assist in formulation trials, compounding adjustments, and process-parameter studies.
• Monitor and analyze the condition of extrusion lines.
• Support development of dispersion and vulcanization chemical formulations.
