Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a capable accounting professional in Kuala Lumpur to lead record-to-report activities and GAR processes. You will oversee period-end close, review reconciliations and journal entries, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of R2R, close management and cross-functional communication. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and opportunities for progression within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of record-to-report processes including general accounting and GAR activities.
• Experience leading accounting close and reporting activities.
• Ability to review reconciliations, journal entries and financial schedules with care.
• Good understanding of financial reporting requirements and accounting processes.
• Ability to coordinate accounting activities and manage priorities across reporting cycles.
• Clear communication skills when working with internal stakeholders on accounting matters.
