Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced R2R Accountant to join our Shared Services Center (SSC) for a 6 to 12 month contract. The role focuses on daily intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls across multiple entities and regions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in intercompany accounting or R2R, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP FI/CO or HFM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in intercompany accounting, R2R operations, or general accounting, preferably in a Shared Services or multinational environment.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume transactional processing with speed and accuracy.
• Strong working knowledge of intercompany accounting principles and cross-entity processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; comfortable handling large datasets and performing reconciliations.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP (FI/CO or intercompany modules).
• Preferred: Exposure to HFM or other consolidation/reporting tool

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage daily intercompany transactions, including billing, recharges, and settlements across multiple legal entities and regions.
• Monitor and clear intercompany balances on a timely basis; ensure proper documentation and audit trail.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in intercompany coding, documentation, and system entries.
• Proactively resolve discrepancies and mismatches by working with global internal teams (e.g., AP, AR, procurement, tax).
• Maintain and update intercompany trackers and internal reporting tools.
• Support periodic intercompany confirmations and reconciliations with counterparties.
• Assist in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements related to intercompany processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and automate intercompany workflows.
